The Japanese Auto Industry in Canada — Annual Industry Review 2018

Since Japanese automakers first entered the Canadian market in the mid-1960’s, Japanese brands have played a vital and growing role in the success of Canada’s automotive industry. This partnership continues to expand as Japanese brand vehicle sales reach record volumes in Canada for the fourth year in a row and as production in Canada reached over a million units for the second consecutive year in 2017.
